Intro to my family...

Photo of Jeanne and Dale Stuemke

Thanks for stopping by. Read on to learn a little about me (Jeanne Stuemke) and my family.

Dale and I live in Lakeway, Texas (just outside of Austin). We are originally from Minnesota, but we have lived in Texas since 1981. By now, I think we can be considered Texans! We both worked at IBM for most of our careers, and we have both been "downsized." Dale now works as a contractor at IBM. We have an internet business where you can purchase health and beauty products and gift and incentive albums and have them delivered directly to you.

I make handmade greeting cards using vintage postcards from the early 1900s and sell them on Victorian Cards. I also sell antiques and collectibles at the Attic Shoppe and on e-Bay. I have a recipe blog of old-time recipes that I have collected over the last 40 years or so. Many of these old recipes are from my personal collection, some are from friends and family, and I have found many wonderful recipes at estate sales.

We have two grown children and four grandchildren! Our daughter is a curriculum developer in Ft. Worth, and our son is an attorney in Dallas specializing in mesothelioma.
