This 1940s or 1950s Lacy Nets Book is printed by the American Thread Company.
It is Star Book No. 139. The original price of this vintage book was 10 cents. It
is 10-1/2" x 7-1/2" and is 15 pages long.
The inside of the booklet says "Lacy Nets is the new, easy way to beautiful accessories
for you and for your home...no knowledge of handcraft is needed...just thread your
needle and weave in and out of the mesh rayonet material. Most of the designs in
this book are interchangeable."
These unusual patterns are for TV slippers, afghans, pillows, carriage covers,
jibbers, placemats, stoles, and seat covers.
This craft book is in excellent - it doesn't look like it has been used. There
is no writing or highlighting in this pattern book.
