This 1946 vintage trimmings book is Clark's & J. & P. Coats Book No. S-23. The original price of this vintage craft book was 10 cents. It is 10-3/4" x 7-5/8" and is 31 pages long.
This vintage trimmings book shows how to add interest and becomingness to clothes. Included are pages on applique, arrowheads, bands, beading, belts, bows, braid, buttons, circular frills, cording, couching, embroidery, fabric flowers, fagoting, fringe, frogs, hemstitching, lace, picot edging, pom poms, quilting, ribbon, rick rack, sequins, smocking, stitching, tassels, and tubing. Simple instructions are included on how to use these techniques.
This vintage craft book is in excellent condition for a 61-year-old book. I don't see any writing or highlighting.
