This appliqued vest pattern is from The Unique Spool and was designed by Roberta Whitworth. The vest is named Africa I. The vest pattern instructions are sized Small, Medium, and Large.

The back of this vest has a tree branch spanning the upper back with a snake coiled in amongst the leaves. The mountains, hills, and grounds continue from the front with an elephant walking across the plains on the center back. The vest is appliqued, making use of both scraps and yardage.

This copyright date of this vest quilt pattern is 1993.

I bought this vest sewing pattern from the estate of a very experienced quilter. It is an original - not a copy or a reproduction!

This applique quilt pattern is in excellent condition - it has not been used.
