Sewing Pattern - 1950s Women's Dress Butterick Size 16

This is a 1950s Butterick 7231 pattern for a women's dress. This pattern
is an original - we do not sell reproductions or copies. The instructions are included.
This printed pattern is a size 16 with a 34" bust and a 35" hip. The original
price was 50 cents. I am basing the age of the pattern on this price. The back of
the pattern says this is a twin pocketed casual: dew drop yoke dress.
Vintage sizing is smaller than today's sizing. It is best to
ignore traditional sizing altogether and simply order the pattern by bust size
as any necessary alterations are usually easier in other areas of the garment.
The envelope shows a little wear. The pattern pieces and instructions are in
very good condition - only some of the pieces have been cut.
