Sewing Pattern - 1940s Misses Blouses Size 16 Simplicity

This is a 1940s Simplicity #4180 pattern for misses and women's blouses that
are simple to make. This pattern is an original - we do not sell reproductions
or copies. The instructions are included.
This blouse features kimono-type sleeves and an easily made
slip opening at center front neck edge. View 1 is styled with 3/4 sleeves and a
pointed collar. View 2 has a simple tie collar and short sleeves. View 3 is collarless
and has short sleeves.
This pattern is a size 16 with a 34" bust. The original price was 35 cents. I
am basing the age of this pattern on this price.
Vintage sizing is smaller than today's sizing. It is best to
ignore traditional sizing altogether and simply order the pattern by bust size
as any necessary alterations are usually easier in other areas of the garment.
The top part of the envelope shows wear. The pattern pieces and instructions
appear to be in very good condition - only some of the pieces have been cut.
