This 1943 Simplicity pattern is for a Man's Shirt #1961. This is a preprinted
pattern in a size Large. The original price was $.25. This 1940s pattern is an
original - we do not sell reproductions or copies.
The back of this vintage pattern has this description: "The shirt is styled with a double
yoke, encased seams and a six-button front closing. The back is gathered to the
yoke seam and short openings at the lower edge of the side seams finish the shirt..."
I've included a scan of the back of the envelope so you can see all the details.
The instructions are included with this vintage sewing pattern, and the 1943 date is included
on the instruction sheet.
The envelope measures 8 1/2" x 5 1/2".
This vintage Simplicity pattern is in great condition. The envelope shows a bit of wear. The pattern
pieces are in great condition. The original owner treated her patterns very carefully!
