This 1980 pattern for a girl's basic yoke dress and slip for French hand
sewing from The Other Place was designed by Sarah Howard Stone. This
pattern is a size 7. Included are basic instructions to design your own
creation. 4 embroidered collar patterns are include. Patterns may be adapted for
smocking. This pattern is an original - we do not sell reproductions or copies.
Sarah Howard Stone, who learned the art of French Handsewing from her mother,
is today nationally known as the Master of French Handsewing. Sarah, through her
sewing classes, has instilled a love of handsewing in the hearts of hundreds of
young women, thus insuring the survival of the art.
The pattern has not been used, so it is in excellent condition.
