This is McCall's Crafts vintage pattern 8579 for delicate smocking or embroidered borders. This envelope contains washable blue transfers and instructions for six smocking designs and three embroidery borders. The original pattern cost $3.75 and is probably from the 1980s.

This vintage sewing pattern is in excellent condition and has not been used. The envelope does show some minor wear. Smocking instructions are included.
